Larat ke Naza?

saya suke baca blog adik saye arini
time kasih abah
naza ni tak mcm adik2 yg mudah menunjukkan emosi dn pandai borak2 dgn abah
tp mungkin sbb naza ni sulung yg buat jd gitu
luaran keras, degil, garang
masa zaman rebel dulu pun sgt rebel
tp bile dah rasa jd parent sekarang
baru paham susah senangnye
dan rasa tak tertanding dgn abah mama lg
paham jugak yg buat naza jd keras gini sbb abah mama mase tu first time jd parent
masih dlm proses nak belajar jd ibu bapa
dah tentu ade trial and error
naza tgk bile makin ke adik2, abah mama dah semakin lama semakin lembut
makin boleh memahami cara nak handle anak2 yg tak boleh blah perangai ni masa waktu mmbesar
naza nampak jugak perubahan mama abah
abah mama yg dulunye garang, skarang makin lama makin lupus asapnye
plg ketara pada abah
asik jd pak lawak je skarang
kalo dulu jgn harap nk dpt abah melawak camtu
tah mane dtg skill melawak die tah, ttb je dapat
skarang bile kadang2 nak marah izz, asik pk balik je betul ke aku buat ni
tp kadang2 terlepas gak
camtula agaknye mama abah dulu besarkn kitorg 4 org
ni naza baru satu

dalam usia skarang ni, naza dah mule terpk2
sampai bile agaknye masa kitorg dgn abah mama
dulu kecik2, asik dengar atuk2 nenek2 org lain pegi mengadap Tuhan
skarang dah besar camni, asik dengar ayah2 mak2 org lain plak camtu
rasa sayu..tak berani nak pk jauh2
rase berat bahu ni bile pk jauh2
larat ke naza nak jaga adik2, mcm mama abah jaga?

tiramisu

i'm in my Giada de Laurentiis mode today
tempted to try an italian dish very well loved by..err..everybody?

so..back to basic

i love coffee
i love cheese
i love whipped cream

what more could i asked except for a plate of tiramisu then!!

scrumptiously divine

here's my 1st attemp on homemade tiramisu
and sooo easy it was
cant believe i never learned it earlier
thanks Sarah Hussain for inspiring, hehe
(though i know you disapprove my cheat..hohoho)

want to know how?

1. buat air nescafe (have it strong and sweet)
2.whip some whip cream + sugar (i whipped it until quite stiff)
3. whip some mascarpone cheese + vanilla essence. fold it in the whipped cream
4. dip some ladyfingers in the nescafe (ladyfingers ni biskut omputeh la, bentuk dia panjang2..ni yg saya tipu, psl saya guna biskut lutut..kuang kuang..malas la nak cari ladyfingers [sorry sarah]..nak tukar ngan plain butter cake pon boleh)
5. layer the ladyfingers into a serving dish, top with the cream mix, repeat the processes again
5. top with cocoa powder (nak best lg, use some shaved chocolate..yummy)
6. simpan dlm fridge kasi sejuk..pastu boleh makan tak hengat XD

tadaaa..easy eh? takyah masak2, takyah api2..
actually the whipped cream was also a cheat as the classic recipe calls for some beaten egg whites, but i was so horrified by the idea of eating raw eggs, i ditched it altogether

i know it looked messy..tp kalo en badang makan sampai speechless, siap bile dah habis tanye ade lg tak,then i'm more than satisfied XD


back to Giada, she's kind of someone i admire
a celebrity chef, a wifey, a mommy, a beauty
baru je kenal die ni semenjak dah ade channel Asian Food Network #706 kat astro [Giada at Home, Everyday Italian]
she's an italian-american, sbb tu lawa die bukan muke typical omputeh
passionate about food and cooking, siap dah beranak sorg,but manage to keep fit
nak jd camtu boleh??
tanak la contradict to my previous post kan..kate nak slim down..he
i'm still serious about it, and at the same time i cant restrain my love being with the pots and pans..and of coz my love of eating..haihhh.. :)

so for now, i have Giada as my inspiration hokeh..haha..for now

Naza T?

Lg 2 more weeks is SDE (last) Annual Dinner
The theme is retro mengimbau kenangan 1983-2011 SDE started at 1983 btw
Apekah jadahnye aku nak pakai neh..83 tu pakai pampers kottt

Me and noni and sarah and farah pakat2
bincang punye bincang punye bincang gile serius bincang nak pakai ape je
we came out with an idea
Let's Hana Tajima!
oh..she is sooo IN right now..
what with her hijab, her outfits..her style is spreading now

Lately i've been playing around with shawls quite a bit tapi gi keja tak buat..not yet..malas kot..haha
my first source for inspiration was actually Maria Elena, the one who got me started fooling around making a cool mess on my head
Oh..if you dont know Maria..she's this famous blogger, very hillarious and outgoing
Only after her did I get to know Hana Tajima..a Japanesse+English mix, a rising British fashion designer, converted to Muslim at 17, sucessful businesswoman, a model as well..she's really something
And there are many others too..there's this club called scarflets for them (nak join boleh??)
I felt quite drawn to their freestyle yet sophisticated ways in 'wrapping' heads haha
Lagipun shawl sgt murah banding tudung2 awning bagai nih..so lagi la poket saya suke
There are no specific rules..you just need a lot of confidence (bcoz people will be staring, definitely)
So..kite tgk jela dinner nnti cemane
Dapat tak saye menjadi Naza T? (konon2 Naza Tajima..bweeekkk)

Izz: (dah mandi dn bergelimpangan kat lantai tengok tv)
Abg: (tak mandi lagi dn sedang melipat kain..THANK GOD..saya paling TAK SUKA lipat kain)
Saya: (sama tak mandi lagi dn main intenet..oh bagusnye akhlak)

feeling like cracking something in the pot..

p/s: bos baru called last friday..asking me to start work a month earlier..meaning from 3 month notice to 2..camano nak cite kat ODK (org dalam kaca aka Mr K my current boss)..hmmm..camno nak buek
