Izz is nearly 3

Today i went for my ENT follow up checkup.everything's getting better.i'm so glad i underwent the sinus operation.life's really improved without the need to depends on drugs due to proneness to flue.kalo flue pun kejap je baik.so thankful to Allah for giving me better health. Im a fan of the Neil Med sinus rinse prescribed by my ENT doc. Kalo sesema atau gatal2, i just rinse my nostril with the salt solution and immediately hidung rasa bersih n segar heh.love the feeling.

The hunger and drowsy attack are getting obvious lately.lapar sket pun x tahan.nk mkn kenyang sll.lapar sket siap pening2.ngantuk pun sama.buat aktiviti ringan2 pun ngantuk.x buat pape pun ngantuk.thankfully im still allowed for 1-2 cups of coffee everyday.at least i can kickstart my day fresh especially at work.

After the ent checkup, me and bad went around looking for izz's birthday present.this would be the 1st time he got a birthday present in fact. Sebelum ni just celebrate with cakes heh. Ayah berkenan sgt2 dgn Leappad2 from Leapfrog. Kinda like ipad made especially for kids.ade package yg mnarik online direct from US store tp last2 we decided to buy from toysrus. A good device for Izz to play n learn at the same time. Reading, maths, logic, etc.. Made rugged for kids too.xdela risau mcm bg main ipad heh padahal mcmla ummi ayah penah belikn ipad kt dia.

So this 9th Sept izz would be 3 yrs old..my baby is a baby no more..getting bigger and jd abg besar..

This time around

Xdelah terror sgt ummi ni, but for this second pregnancy, I may say I have quiet a clearer idea ewahh of what's really important to be prepared and done, at least for me or what works for me. I'm making this an independent page as i might add/delete items along the 9 months journey. This serves as well as a reminder for myself. • Dual, 3 way powered breastpump - Masa Izz dulu, saya pakai Avent 3 way tp single je..so to complete expressing milk took about 1/2 hour for each session..kadang2 masa pump at one side, the other side spilled out, sayang je..so kalo dpt yg dual dptla cepat sket sudahkan every session sbb kena amik masa kat ofis nnti kmfem..and i like having the option of 3 way to power (electric, battery or manual)..it gives the flexibility depending on where i am..this time i plan to stock up as early as possible masa dlm pantang..dulu dah nak start kerja baru nak simpan stok, ended up tak cukup and last2 terpaksa campur formula milk..still Izz had my milk until he's 2 years old..insyaAllah,this time around i want to provide only breastmilk to my baby all the way till 2 years old too..moga dipermudahkan Aamiin
• Gentlebirth - I went for Hypnobirthing class for my previous pregnancy, but due to complication of my water dried out magically from inside the waterbag, i had to be induced at 38 weeks and had no chance to try the gentlebirth..so i'm looking ahead to try it this time :) So mari revise semula method2 berkaitan..buku sume kat rumah mama so nanti nak pegi ambik
• Selecting my O&G - If I'm really fit enough to try gentlebirth, i have to select an O&G who support this method, since in Malaysia the concept of gentlebirth is quite new and there are very few O&G who practice this..currently the only hospital who officially provide this service is Pantai Hospital (waterbirth method..Dr Halina wife of our astronaut Syeikh Muszaphar gave birth using this wonderful way)..i also heard that Gleanegals got docs who support gentlebirth approach

The 5th week

The week that we found out im pregnant was the 5th week..very early n no sign at all..actually the story went like this..we've been trying for the 2nd child since early this year..almost 9 months already..frustration? Dont ask..but i have faith that Allah knows best the right timing..just like our experience with Izz before..only after me n Bad were financially quite stable after our marriage ceremony yg byk pakai duit, only then i got pregnant..so same with this time..we waited and waited and waited..Alhmdulillah..i still have no clue what the hikmah of this late pregnancy this time but im sure it's there :)

One day before i tested myself, i bought Biodex..it's a supplement that may help women to get pregnant actually..nothing strange about it..just to help me in gaining inner health and healthy womb..i've tried it before ..before i got Izz :)..tak sampai sebulan, i got pregnant Alhamdulillah..not sure was it because i took Biodex or  was Izz already there..so after months and months of trying for the 2nd one, Bad suggested i tried Biodex again..itupun saya dok lengah2 mencarinya..nak cari satu hal jugak..last2 we found it dekat Tesco Nilai, dekat kedai2 kat luar kaunter tu, bukan dlm Tesco ye..this time I bought 2 things: (1) Supreme diet - drink mix yg ade campuran mcm2 eg. soya, green tea, kurma, brown rice, spirulina, etc (2) Woman Lobata - bantu memudahkan kehamilan

Pagi esoknya, saya bancuh supreme diet before pegi keja, mcm buat air chocolate jek, kacau2 dgn air suam..i planned to take woman lobata that night..one thing about woman lobata is once the consumer got pregnant, she must stop taking it..so that night, before taking it, i tested myself..tujuannye sbb nak makan itu supplement la..and GUESS WHAT?? Double line!! ALHAMDULILLAH..syukur ya amat masa tu..penat tggu line tu..asik2 kluar satu line je, kalini dpt tgk double line..of course rugi la beli woman lobata tu last2 tak pakai pun..tp takpela..like a friend of mine said, tu rezeki saya dn rezeki penjual tu jugak :) ala2, win2 situation la..trus kira2 dr last 1st day period (my period has always been irregular, tp syukur saya catat time bendera merah bulan lepas dlm kalendar sbb masa tu bulan puasa, kena la catat betul2 sbb nak kira nak ganti puasa berapa hari ye dak)..so lebey kurang 5 mggu la usia kandungan saya secara pengiraan kaedah tersebut (though i believe it's less than that ;P)..

Now Izz is officially a brother

On 28 August 2012, the news that we've been waiting for quite some time has arrived..it was such a great gift that came this Syawal..Izz is now abang besar :)

Babycentre.com suggested that i start a pregnancy diary..i thought, rather than tulis2 dlm buku, baik tulis2 dlm blog ni..insyaAllah tak hilang sampai bila2 and bolehle jd tatapan budak2 tu dah besar sok :D

Dapatla merasa naik menara Taming Sari and River Cruise
Ummi paling suke River Cruise tu..sebab driver siap cerite sejarah melaka, siap lalu perkampungan Melaka (Kampung Mortem), ada banyak view yg menarik, ade jambatan tempat komunis pancung kepala org, ade serumpun (serumpun ke?) bakau yg mmg dibela siap biawak2 skali, and of course pokok melaka (Ummi first time tengok)..

Kite Festival at my place

At Pasir Gudang poyonye ayat mula, we have a very large padang..nama die Padang Layang Layang

and every year, we have International Kite Festival at the place

This year around, it was held last week from Wednesday until Sunday, morning till night as usual

Everyday there were kite competitions and exhibitions from local and international participants

There were stalls selling food and stuff all day long, 

concerts with celebs at night, uh, serius nada poyo nih..haha

ala, riuh2 standard kat keramaian + pro and amateurs playing kites..and of cos, kites penuh di udara

ala2 riuh2 di tanah + riuh2 di langit..ho

My family came last weekend for this festival..saje sbb tak penah tgk

Abah, mama, syazwan & ainaa, iqa ade exam or work camtu so she couldnt joined us

Bagus gak my family dtg nak tgk the festival

Even me myself had never really experienced the whole thing for real even after 3 years staying here

sll pegi setakat tgk2 bazar malam2, manede layang2 dah time tu :P

So off we went last saturday

semangat, pagi2 dah keluar

ayah wan berios beli baju izz sedondon dgn die..mesia pon mesia la..khairul fahmi best ader :P

Had our breakfast kat pusat bandar.sile bayangkan pusat bandar pasir gudang spt Kompleks PKNS kat shah alam tu, tp 15 tahun dahulu :P

2 gamba izz yg saye mmg takle blah..rasa nak lempang2..eiii :P

Sampai2 padang, mule2 nampak stall berderet2..tadek masalah untuk saya tu..masalahnye cuma bile dr jauh nampak bola2an besar2an gayut2an kat one of the stalls..aduuhhh..izz mmg pantang nih..pantang nampak..

nih gamba ayah wan melayan izz tendang2 bola..suke2 ko je tendang bola org tgh jual kan~

lg kepantangan berlaku..nak oi..toybox ko kat umah tu dah mcm2 saiz, mcm2 kaler bola dah..jgn harap ummi nak beli lg..tengok aje dah (ummi garang..auumm)

Pagi2 tu layang2 baru start nak naik la..sket2..lama2 jd banyak camni haa. the crowd also was getting bigger..and the sun hotter..tp ni pagi..that afternoon would be the opening ceremony by DYMM..so petang tu lagi penuh la tanah dn udara.he

 org nak main layang2, depa pun nak main layang2..panas tau tak panas? (as if i wasnt the one holding the string just minutes before)..

After a few hours burning our skin under the sun, kitorg balik..everybody was smelly, sweaty, yucky yucky..and very2 tired..tapi rasanye sume org had a fun day :)

 Moral of the day, main layang2 aka belon spongebob izz lg senang..letih tau dak nak kasi layang2 tu naik..hoho

My family came for just 2 nights..ahad pagi2 they went back to shah alam..sbb syazwan ade urusan bessaaarr punyee itu petang..hoho..it's ok..as long as they come..i love having them over at my house :)

As of yesterday

Kelmarin siang dlm kul 10 am Malaysia (4 am Mesir kot), saya call Syazwan

wahh..clear mcm srystal, gaya mcm die sebelah rumah (kagum jap dgn communication system zmn skarang)

masa tu die di rumah die lg..masih berkurung..

katanye rusuhan dekat dgn umah die tu dah reda, jd derang ade kluar2 gi beli makanan (sib bek ade kedai jugak kedai bukak), cumanye duit mereka makin short, dgn bank sume dah tutup dn atm takle pakai..

katanye ade rumours bekalan elektrik nak diputuskan..jd mereka berjaga2 di samping tutup lampu je sbb risau dgn berita banduan terlepas dr penjara dn berkeliaran

malam tu saya tgk Buletin Utama lg (31/1/11..kalini kawan Syazwan Hafiz yg buat report dlm berita), katanye sume pelajar Cairo diarahkan berkumpul di Malaysia Hall dari pagi,dn dah buat agreement dgn Jordan, Saudi n Libya untuk temporarily evacuate dak2 ke sana..saya terus call Syazwan balik kul 9pm Malaysia, Alhamdulillah, rupanya die dah pun 1 jam selamat sampai ke Malaysia Hall..saya lega sket sbb kat situ lebih selamat dn dptla makan ke ape ke..katanye die naik teksi, sempat kluar sebelum curfew hour derang (curfew tak silap dr 8 pagi ke 2 petang)..sib bek teksi pun masih sudi nak bisnes..haihh..

Jordan ade Izham (jiran selorong kat Bukit Saga umah saya, kawan skolah dn sebaya syazwan yg blajar medic di sana)..Saudi ada Mak Njang and family..so mane2 pun ok bagi saya..asalkan bawak jauh kejap dak2 tu dr kebahayaan2 tu sume..

Haritu saya rasa berita kat tv sgtla tak meluas..sbb cume cover kat Cairo je (yg derang call adik saya tu)..sedangkan rusuhan ni melibatkan byk tpt..Cairo, Alex, Tanta,, etc dn yg plg teruk Mansourah..byk cerita2 yg sgt tak enak tak kluar (mcm byk kes rumah student kita kena pecah rumah, dirompak, tembak menmbak di bawah rumah, student kena peluru sesat, dn yg plg sadis ada juga cite student kite kena rogol)..lg upto-date bile ikuti blog krisismesirnasibrakyatkita.blogspot.com..tp mlm td punye berita (1/2/11) ok sket la dah..dah menyeluruh sket..dah cover byk tempat..kami sauda mara pelajar amat memerlukan maklumat yg menyeluruh..bukan hanya sekadar diberitahu keadaan di sana masih ok dn TAK ADA keperluan bawa pulang pelajar..saya marah tul kenyataan ORG DLM TV ITU sedangkan masa tu cerita sebenar sgtla TAK OK..

apepun, saya mengharapkan yg terbaik untuk adik saya dn org2 kita sume di Mesir sana..nampaknye skarang tindakan kerajaan dah laju sket nak banding beberapa hari lepas
