This time around

Xdelah terror sgt ummi ni, but for this second pregnancy, I may say I have quiet a clearer idea ewahh of what's really important to be prepared and done, at least for me or what works for me. I'm making this an independent page as i might add/delete items along the 9 months journey. This serves as well as a reminder for myself. Blue font is for points that have been done, ala2 dah tick 'right' gitu, pink for 'in process' :) Here goes:

• Babycentre.com.my - Even Bad reminded me himself of this matter! Best bile daftar kat site ni, sbb every week akan dpt email on the development of the baby in the womb..complete with graphical image of how the baby is growing, related articles, pregnancy and post pregnancy issues and discussion..even yg trying to conceive pun boleh register sbb ade byk discussion and related articles on the matter ..mmg sgt informative
• Surah2 amalan - harini dalam fesbuk, Ustaz Don letak gambar yg sgt comel berkenaan surah2 amalan ni from www.littlekhalefblog.com..takyah saya tulis panjang2..compact and cute..mintak share owner yg budiman :)

• Dual, 3 way powered breastpump - Masa Izz dulu, saya pakai Avent 3 way tp single je..so to complete expressing milk took about 1/2 hour for each session..kadang2 masa pump at one side, the other side spilled out, sayang je..so kalo dpt yg dual dptla cepat sket sudahkan every session sbb kena amik masa kat ofis nnti kmfem..and i like having the option of 3 way to power (electric, battery or manual)..it gives the flexibility depending on where i am..this time i plan to stock up as early as possible masa dlm pantang..dulu dah nak start kerja baru nak simpan stok, ended up tak cukup and last2 terpaksa campur formula milk..still Izz had my milk until he's 2 years old..insyaAllah,this time around i want to provide only breastmilk to my baby all the way till 2 years old too..moga dipermudahkan Aamiin
• Gentlebirth - I went for Hypnobirthing class for my previous pregnancy, but due to complication of my water dried out magically from inside the waterbag, i had to be induced at 38 weeks and had no chance to try the gentlebirth..so i'm looking ahead to try it this time :) So mari revise semula method2 berkaitan..buku sume kat rumah mama so nanti nak pegi ambik
• Selecting my O&G - If I'm really fit enough to try gentlebirth, i have to select an O&G who support this method, since in Malaysia the concept of gentlebirth is quite new and there are very few O&G who practice this..currently the only hospital who officially provide this service is Pantai Hospital (waterbirth method..Dr Halina wife of our astronaut Syeikh Muszaphar gave birth using this wonderful way)..i also heard that Gleanegals got docs who support gentlebirth approach

The 5th week

The week that we found out im pregnant was the 5th week..very early n no sign at all..actually the story went like this..we've been trying for the 2nd child since early this year..almost 9 months already..frustration? Dont ask..but i have faith that Allah knows best the right timing..just like our experience with Izz before..only after me n Bad were financially quite stable after our marriage ceremony yg byk pakai duit, only then i got pregnant..so same with this time..we waited and waited and waited..Alhmdulillah..i still have no clue what the hikmah of this late pregnancy this time but im sure it's there :)

One day before i tested myself, i bought Biodex..it's a supplement that may help women to get pregnant actually..nothing strange about it..just to help me in gaining inner health and healthy womb..i've tried it before ..before i got Izz :)..tak sampai sebulan, i got pregnant Alhamdulillah..not sure was it because i took Biodex or  was Izz already there..so after months and months of trying for the 2nd one, Bad suggested i tried Biodex again..itupun saya dok lengah2 mencarinya..nak cari satu hal jugak..last2 we found it dekat Tesco Nilai, dekat kedai2 kat luar kaunter tu, bukan dlm Tesco ye..this time I bought 2 things: (1) Supreme diet - drink mix yg ade campuran mcm2 eg. soya, green tea, kurma, brown rice, spirulina, etc (2) Woman Lobata - bantu memudahkan kehamilan

Pagi esoknya, saya bancuh supreme diet before pegi keja, mcm buat air chocolate jek, kacau2 dgn air suam..i planned to take woman lobata that night..one thing about woman lobata is once the consumer got pregnant, she must stop taking it..so that night, before taking it, i tested myself..tujuannye sbb nak makan itu supplement la..and GUESS WHAT?? Double line!! ALHAMDULILLAH..syukur ya amat masa tu..penat tggu line tu..asik2 kluar satu line je, kalini dpt tgk double line..of course rugi la beli woman lobata tu last2 tak pakai pun..tp takpela..like a friend of mine said, tu rezeki saya dn rezeki penjual tu jugak :) ala2, win2 situation la..trus kira2 dr last 1st day period (my period has always been irregular, tp syukur saya catat time bendera merah bulan lepas dlm kalendar sbb masa tu bulan puasa, kena la catat betul2 sbb nak kira nak ganti puasa berapa hari ye dak)..so lebey kurang 5 mggu la usia kandungan saya secara pengiraan kaedah tersebut (though i believe it's less than that ;P)..

Now Izz is officially a brother

On 28 August 2012, the news that we've been waiting for quite some time has arrived..it was such a great gift that came this Syawal..Izz is now abang besar :)

Double line yay!
Adik..this was the first moment we know that you 've came into our life.. ^_^

Babycentre.com suggested that i start a pregnancy diary..i thought, rather than tulis2 dlm buku, baik tulis2 dlm blog ni..insyaAllah tak hilang sampai bila2 and bolehle jd tatapan budak2 tu dah besar sok :D

Asalnye pegi Batu Pahat, sbb member SDE kahwin
Pastu direct gi bandar Melaka

Takdela pusing banyak tempat sangat..tambah lak hujan
Ummi sanggup pegi cari seluar kat bazaar, tak kuasa nak pakai kain kebaya dah By the way, Ummi dah muat nak pakai kebaya yg 6 tahun lepas punye hehehe
Dapatla merasa naik menara Taming Sari and River Cruise
Ummi paling suke River Cruise tu..sebab driver siap cerite sejarah melaka, siap lalu perkampungan Melaka (Kampung Mortem), ada banyak view yg menarik, ade jambatan tempat komunis pancung kepala org, ade serumpun (serumpun ke?) bakau yg mmg dibela siap biawak2 skali, and of course pokok melaka (Ummi first time tengok)..
Tp tak amik gambar banyak sangat..sebok tgk keliling je..hehe

Izz excited naik Taming Sari..sume penumpang masuk cabin and cabin dinaikkan sampai atas sambil revolving aroung the tower..mane tak excited dak tu :P

p/s: Apart from the fact that TVXQ was indeed an incredible group back in my U days..TVXQ also brings back memories of my time with my dear friends Eela, Ifah, Dalila and Kekna..all of us were crazy bout them then (though it was a harmless kind of crazy)..that's why I have such soft spot for them and feel saddened knowing their story

Kamarul Ariffin clan..taun 2011 beraya di kampung mama di Parit Buntar yg dah berwajah baru

Buat surprise party for Iki my dear cousin yg dah mcm adik sndiri.. His birthday mmg best..1 negara cuti..31 Aug..and the pecan butterscotch cake was marvelloussssssssss..sib bek ade secret recipe bukak lewat malam raya2 aritu..pas makan kek Iki lak jd kek sbb kena tepung dek sepupu sepapat sume :D

Kereta ayah broke down at Taiping..akhirnye Neo kesayangan ayah yg bekerja keras PG-Sah Alam-PG  for about 5 years mula wore down..2 mggu kot dikerjakan dek ayah dn kawannya yg kerja di Proton Lotus R3..ingatkan dah tadek harapan..kini kembali menderum (tp cam hovver sgt jek bunyi deruman Neo ni skarang..Ummi malas nk tanya Ayah ape yg die upgrade..bukan paham pon)

Masa kereta sedang tersadai di tepi jalan raya..Chikqa n Nana mengasah lg bakat Izz yg comot momot (but of course yg bukan2 jek di ajarnye..skarang dah terror.. asal sebut peace jek laju je kangkang jari die..)

Walimatul Urus di rumah pengantin perempuan di Sijangkang Banting 17 Sept 2011. Pengapit Izham merangkap jiran dn best friend Syazwan dr kecik2 hingus2

Di rumah kami di Shah Alam 18 Sep 2011..ramai betul yg dtg smalam..dak ni sengal2 die femes kemain lagi (psl die sengal la kot :P)..Moga berbahagia dunia akhirat..sila bagi Izz cousins yg comel2..kalo boleh lebihkan genetik Dian..jawa pun jawala :P

Life's not a rose garden

Conflicts are such an essential don’t you think? Of life?

It’s troubling, causes havoc, and meltdowns.. But without it one will never arises back

How did I deal with it?

Depends..

But sometimes I do feel that I have the ability to put ignorance at its best

And get the strength to make hard decisions in my life

By being a little ignorant..and stop being the nice person while letting myself get all the hard s**t..and stop thinking too much of what other ppl think (like i’ve always did in my younger years )

Only then did I manage to appreciate myself more..and make the call that is beneficial for me

I don’t know if that’s strength or simply ego

But my rule of thumb

Jadi kuat takpe asalkan jgn org meluat

Org meluat sape pun tanak kawan J ataupun pura2 kawan

This post is inspired from my non-work related activity on my last day of work before Raya Holiday..takde mood nk keja..maka stalking around and ‘terr’ambil tau life conflicts of meaningful people around me..

At this point of life, i think i can say, i appreciate the fact that I’m indeed ageing

It’s not something to be afraid of, but something to be celebrated

Bcos without it, I could never see the world from my perspective like today, could never gained as much experience like i have today, could never make decisions like I have nowadays..and to actually say something back about it..

What to do when you suddenly find yourself in the midst of haze

Nampak2 A'a anak bongsu Maknye, Izz trus "A'aa"


A'a ckp dgn Maknya: "Mak, kalau kite bela Izz mahal ke murah??" 
sayangnye mereka kat Izz, terharu rasa

Lepas raya ni, Ayah dah tak kat PG dah
Ummi bawak Izz gi Lumut plak di hujung mggu melawat Ayah kalo die tak balik Shah Alam
hoho..boleh la bercuti2 Malesia skali
